It was amusing to watch these two male Cowbirds expressing differences of opinion instead of fighting. Each one would alternately fluff his feathers, pose and chirp with attitude while the other held his nose in the air and seeming to pretend he didn't see/hear a thing. Back and forth like this for several minutes.
