Hummingbird, Ruby-throated (FIRST)

Date: 05/08/2021

Number: 1

It saddens me to see a female first. In the past we always see the males then the females come in a few days later. Where we used to get at least 6 males a year and at least 8 females now we see 1 female. We have lived in our Groveland Twp. home for 32 yrs. We are directly across the street from Holly SGA and our woods and gardens were teeming with birds and insects. The decline in both to such extremes breaks my heart. When my husband and I can walk through our woods and not be bothered by insects, SCARY!
