I was so surprised to find monarch caterpillars on my milkweed that has begun to grow back after all 10 plants were devoured by them earlier this spring. In addition, I found at least 5 eggs. At least 40 monarchs butterflies emerged from their chrysalisses earlier this spring heading north. I really didn’t expect anymore til fall.
