Monarch Larva (FIRST sighted)

Date: 05/19/2021

Number: 1

Brought 6 eggs inside for observation and to keep away from spiders and ants. First one hatched today. Looks like 4 more will hatch soon. 1 has no change in color. When I collected the eggs a spider was on top of one. Probably this one that looks pale was compromised by a spiders bite.? We have lovely milkweed here at our house to provide well for these first larvae of the season.
