Male robin, 'Mr Williams', arrived with several other males for second season, hungry for mealworms. He became quite tame last yr, landing in bowl, eating worms from hand. Lost his mate so cared for young on his own. Brought single baby for feeding, both left in July. Surprised he came back, remembered, found me this yr. Now Has new mate, nesting nearby, comes when called. Loves live mealworms, beetles, earthworms. Can hold 12 in beak when feeding young, inhales up to 25 in one feeding! Very rotund robin.
