Spotted two monarchs during our Girls on the Run 5K at Kal-Haven trailhead. First one was spotted flying across the trail in a wooded area. The second flew across the finish line at the trailhead and was spotted by several runners. I wasn’t able to grab a photo of either but am so excited to see monarchs return to the Third Coast.
