12:40pm Very wet from rain overnight. Hot and muggy. I saw a fresh looking female laying eggs in the garden. She was going for the common milkweed and chose the one to two inch plants over the taller plants. She checked out the butterfly weed but did not lay any eggs. She made her way around the house checking out the common milkweed but returned to the back garden to lay eggs.
