We watched as a monarch seemed to be flying transects above the prairie near Lake Michigan. Every now and then she would drop down, land on a plant, and then move along again. I hope she found her Milkweed. We saw 2 others cruising the area where the Milkweed are growing, but seemed to be vying for territory. They would circle and one "chase" the other off the area, and then return to the Milkweed patch. We did a quick check of some plants, but didn't find eggs yet.
