Touchdown! I finally saw two Rubies at the same time. A female was eating and just spending time on one of the feeders. Another, gender unknown, swooped in, flew her off the feeder and chased off after her. My guess is that it was a male. I imagine it was a hard day for them. It was 80 and the temp decreased by 15 degrees in about 5 minutes when a front blew through with very high winds. Wind is still frisky. I never would have thought I would see 80 degrees on the Maine coast in May.
