I watched this approx 2.5 mm one eating the remainder of its egg on the folded over underside of a tender 50 mm leaf. I used a mirror and a small 6x focusing loupe tofind it and observe process already underway.
It rained last night (badly needed) . It is overcast and cool. I'll return and photograph it once the cloud breaks.
I'll also check on the 3 eggs I already reported.
