I have seen 5 monarchs since the 21st, but got my first clear look at a female in our garden on 5/25. We brought in eggs and already have several caterpillars which would indicate first eggs on the 20th or 21st. This is a little earlier than the last few years and not common to have multiple egg layers this early...
