Caught sight of a single monarch flying at a height of about 15 feet over the road. No idea male or female. About 17 C with winds gusting to 30 km/hr.
Tobermory, ON is at the tip of the Bruce Peninsula, a hopping off spot for monarchs crossing Lake Huron/Georgian Bay for the North shore, and in reverse during the fall migration.
