Sightings report image

Date: 05/24/2021

Number: 4

For the past 2-3 weeks I've been seeing 2-6 Monarchs on Texas Thistles almost daily when it's not raining, but have not had time to report them. Will have to catch up on reporting during the summer. Please lmk if this is a big problem for you and I'll see if I can catch up sooner.

TEXAS THISTLES are very important for Monarchs! It's very clearly their first nectar choice as soon as they start blooming. Sadly, many people eradicate thistles as I used to before I was informed.
