Earliest ever !!! Moving quickly but very briefly stopped to check out a remaining lilac cluster. Fortunately I had my camera and was able to capture 2 poor quality photos; good enough, when I zoomed in I could see 2 rows of white dots in the black border and no postmedian black line across the hind wing (Viceroy)...Common milkweed is up about 12".
