The Robin pair have very specific duties regarding the nest and 4 hatchlings.
When I get near, Mrs Robin flies away from the nest with alarm calls.
Then Mr Robin, who is standing watch in a tree, swoops down and squawks at me until I leave.
I also saw long straws laying neatly in a small birdbath....i think they wet them to make them pliable for nest making.
So organized!
