First Monarchs of the season here. Several were in the farm yard and 2 were on the prairie. Blooming species are Golden alexander, Small white Lady's slipper and Dogwood. Both Yellow and Blue eyed grass are also blooming. Milkweed is abundant and growing to over 12". Welcome Monarchs !!
