Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)
Sightings report image

Date: 06/03/2021

Number: 1

12:30PM 6/3/21 Our first sighting. Seen feeding on butterfly plant in our flower garden. Ironic but last year our first sighting was also on June 3 at 10:30AM. We have native Asclepias Tuberosa blooming and about 60 tropical plants about 3 inches high but 6/3/21 female seems to be only interested in flowers and not visiting milkweed as far as we can tell. Last year we tended larvae and released over 200 Monarchs. Will try again this year.
