First sighting of monarch larvae Tarbutt Township Ontario. there were 2 about the same size on the same plant.Found on a patch of "wild" common milkweed growing along a ditch. The township has agreed not to mow stands of milkweed growing along the road edges until the monarchs leave in September.They ask residents to report milkweed and mark with trail tape for the road crews.
