This is the first time I have seen A. milkweed (showy)growing along the Art Dye Trail in American Fork, Utah. It was a healthy stand of about 25 stems. A few stems were about to bloom. I judged it to be a young group of milkweed because there were only 1-2 stems with blossoms. It was relatively bug free growing in part shade part sun. Only natural water sources in the area.
