Hummingbird (OTHER Observations)

Date: 06/05/2021

Number: 2

I was hiking the Sheltowee Trace when the squeaks and chirps right next to a road bank caught my ear. Underneath some overhanging brush was some sparring or maneuvers. One or more flew off and one female remained on the undergrowth. I didn’t see a nest, but she seemed rooted to the spot.
