Sightings report image

Number: 1

I own 20 acres of private property. There is tons of milkweed growing here and every year I get thousands of monarchs on my property.

Today I witnessed hundreds of baby monarchs about the size of a nickel flying low by the ground when I walked down the driveway. In the photo there are about 50 flying as I took the photo. Zoom in the orange blobs are the butterflies.

In the next week or two there will be thousands of monarchs flying around the property.

I purchased the property in May of 2020 and I observed thousands....I'm assuming it's about to happen again with the babies flying around.

I'm truly blessed to be able to witness the monarchs hs.
