I checked on eleven locations yet not visited this year and observed 8 monarchs from 12:50 to 2:05 PM. Four of the monarchs were males patrolling milkweed patches, and four were females laying eggs on common milkweed plants. These monarchs were observed at seven of the eleven locations. So far, I have counted 24 monarchs for June, and 7 for May. Weather was sunny with the Wind NE-6 mph. The Temperature was 66F.
