Seven (7) additional deceased Monarch larvae discovered handing feom leaves on Home Depot, Encinitas potted orange Milkweed in various stages of growth from second to last enstar stage. This has not occurred anywhere in the garden, NOT in any other milkweed in the garden except this new Milkweed purchased in a pot. It was washed twice and not used for three weeks. Was outside in sun with an insect net in stakes above it until three (3) weeks later to ensure anything on nursery on leaves was gone. This is tragic and preventable. Someone official needs to contact Home Depot corporate and inform them they are harming the Monarch population.
