It was huge monarch, I think it was a male, he came in and swooped around my Monarch patch, dive bombing around for a minute, like he was marking his territory, never landing then took off. He was very fast, I didnt have time to get a picture, and even if i did have it, he was moving so fast i probably wouldnt have been able to capture an image. this is the first one I've seen of the season. Its a bright, hot, 84 degree cloud less day, with blue skies...
