I believe that I just spotted a black chinned hummingbird sparring with a ruby throated female. As I was moving my feeders around, to keep the raccoons at bay, the female landed on the feeder in my hand but I had seen the black chinned male sitting in the lilac bush a moment earlier. When I left, they chattered and swooped at each other. The whole thing was amazing!
