Twenty-year old backyard native plant habitat. We've replaced grass with a mix of forbs, grasses, and sedges. The area is burned every 3-4 years. The habitat supports fireflies, damselflies, bumblebees and other insects. Birds bathe at the pond. Bats are seen in the sky in the evening.
