Hummingbird, Other Species Sighted

Date: 06/25/2021

Number: 4

Hummers have visited me since March 2019 when I first hung my feeder. They have come back every March. They feed on my 4-1 homemade nectar and do not like the grape store-bought nectar at all. They are feeding strongly middays before and after our daily rainstorms. This season I notice a more female presence than in years past. Strong cardinal, hawk and woodpecker presence as well, as always since 2003. My house is in a cul-de-sac bordering a heavily-wooded park, Ray Greene Park, northside Jacksonville, FL.
