Last year there were several common milkweed plants around the neighbor's pond. I spread the seeds generously in the fall and now have a nice crop. Today I saw the first adult Monarch of the season on the flowering milkweed. Sorry I didn't get a picture before it flew away. 4 p.m. Sunny and 79 degrees in southeast PA.
