Not sure what is going on, but "my" Rubies went through twice the amount of nectar than usual in the last two days. The only thing I brought to the party were a few more flowering plants.

I've seen no more than two at once thus far this year. Hopefully, there are new kids on the block. I would guess we're about in nest building mode, since I saw courtship activity recently (reported). I wondered if the female(s?) put on weight prior to sitting on her nest, but couldn't find any information indicating that behavior exists. Hmm...
