On our pocket prairie, wildflowers grow from March through late July. The Swallowtail caterpillars lay their eggs on our dill, fennel and rue. When they become butterflies, our Purple Horsemint, Gaillardia (firewheel), and other nectar plants are ready to greet them. Other pollinators enjoy the space, too.
