I had a male hummingbird nectaring on my lantana today.
I had to take down all my bird feeders today. The DNR has recommended
the entire state of Indiana to stop feeding birds right now. Until they determine what is killing the song birds. The spoiled hummingbirds come roaring in and no feeders pretty sad situation.
This has not been a great year for hummingbirds in my area. The numbers are way down. I haven’t even seen any new fledglings yet this year.
