Two Monarchs spent about 20 minutes flying to 3 different milkweed patches in our backyard. They intermittently flew to our elderberry bushes (which had just started to bloom), and the dogwood bushes ( which had only some clusters of flowers left). Both Monarchs appeared to be laying eggs in all 3 of the milkweed patches.
The sun was shining and the temperature was in the low 80s. The Monarchs appeared together and left together.
