This poor finch is trying to find some kind of moisture from this petunia.
After emptying the ant moats and birdbaths due the song bird disease these birds are desperate for water.
The disease has gone from 15 counties in Indiana to 40. It has not reached my county but the neighboring count has seen it. So it won’t be long for it to be here. Certainly hope they find out what is causing all these bird deaths.
