Another great day in the Milkweed patches! Monarchs from 8:30am through 7 pm with the grand finale a mated pair which is the only time I saw a female. 3rd mated pair this season. At one time earky afternoon saw 8 monarchs at the same time. A mix of faded & fresh. Also Black Swallowtails, Red Admirals, Whites & Sulphurs, Silver-spotted Skipper & other Skippers, Question Marks & Eastern Commas, Crescents & an Azure.
AM-Mostly sunny 17°c NW wind @ 10kmh. Daytime high of 24°c with wind changing to SW @ 18kmh.
