Monarch Larva (FIRST sighted)

Date: 07/04/2021

Number: 1

A July 4th Spectacular! :)
. Finally found a caterpillar, tiny, on my Mom's Milkweed. She had seen a Monarch there on 6/28/21, which would make sense with this size. We didn't find any others, just (1) egg. *Brought them both in, to give the best chance. :)
*** My observation, I really do think there is a correlation between the cicadas 7-Year LOUD Noise, and them filling up the trees and ground, and the Monarchs moving into this area, because the noise began settling by Sunday/ Monday, June 27 & 28.
