There was an adult Monarch butterfly here yesterday, and one today. None of the cocoons that I have found are open yet, so maybe these came flying through. Or else they came out of cocoons that I didn't find. Two of the cocoons that I have previously reported are not going to emerge as adults. They seemed to have died in the cocoon.
