Sunny hot & humid day started out with 7 monarchs first thing around 7:30am. Mostly males but did see across the road a female nectaring on thistle & I released today a reared female. The males (a couple faded & others fresh) spend the day til about 8:30 each evening patrolling for females & nectaring on common milkweed. Daytime high 29°c real feel of 31° & 68% humidity. Early morning WSW wind @ 16kmh changed in the afternoon to SW @ 23kmh.
