Beautiful sunny 24°c afternoon at Point Pelee. 3pm- 4:30 saw 3 monarchs at the Tip area nectaring on common milkweed along shoreline & flitting south toward Tip. At the milkweed meadow there were at least 24 monarchs nectaring, flitting & mating! NW wind @17kmh.
Cold front has arrived. Last night temp of 15°c & tonight 12°c. Highs of 24 ish next couple of days before warming a couple degrees higher. The normal hot & humid days of July are not in the forecast for next 10 days at least.
