I saw a female Ruby hummingbird nectaring on the honeysuckle vine. It’s been a rare site this summer. It did not take long and a male Ruby hummingbird came zooming in.They were entertaining and entirely to quick for a picture. A few minutes later the chase started again. This time when the chase was over. The male Ruby landed on the bee balm.
Poor little guy hasn’t had much action this summer. Probably wore himself out and needed some nectar.
