Orange flanked imature left on 7/10/21 after spending whole day before on salvias. Then at 8 a.m. 7/10/21 an adult Rubythroat male dove in just looking at red cana lillies, salvias, flew in to check out one feeder. Sat up on twig in desert willow tree. I was able to see his feathers were worn ruffled up and he's molting.
He did go out to fight something off in neighbors pecan tree. Haven't seen him or others today, but feeder level has dropped again he checked out yesterday. Think muggy overcast weather is bothering them again so not seeing them as often.
