This a juvenile male Ruby hummingbird. If you look closely you can see a tiny red on his feathers on his throat.
As this hummingbird was guarding the honeysuckle vine perched on this trellis. I observed another hummingbird nectaring on the same honeysuckle vine. It’s didn’t take long and the chase started.
