In a two week period at least 81 Chrysalis have emerged to form full healthy Monarchs that flew away. 11 others were not born or mutated upon birth, which is much less than last year. There were 58 females and the remainder males. (Last four years, the majority were male.)

All were raised 100% in the wild of a residential backyard .375 miles from Pacific Ocean and placed into a netted cage for their protection from the Tachinid fly once in late last enstar.
