Captive raised and released 3 in June, one female and 3 males.
In between grabbing some nectar, been laying eggs for 3 weeks straight now. Increased egg counts this year, the key is having milkweed growing in shade - a must, as she doesn't lay eggs on flowering milkweed. Also lays eggs on new shoots coming up in the grass, which I save and raise.
