This adult Ruby male hummingbird is nectaring on the blue salvia. He first had to chase off another hummingbird. Than he was chased by a bee. After the bee left him alone he came right up to me an hovered.
I have never had an adult male do that they more skittish. I am sure he is getting to know me and my camera. Too cute. Hate to think the males will be heading south in a few short weeks.
