one monarch investigating our front yard at about 2:55 PM today. While never stopping, it checked out hollyhocks, the nearby patch of Showy milkweed, and then disappeared up the street. seemed a little faded; would not stop for photo. partly sunny, mild, breezy, showers in the area.
