Partly cloudy, hot, light wind from the West, 11am
I saw today 8 Monarchs in Acacia reservation most of them feeding on Milkweed. On the picture a Monarch was feeding on swamp milkweed, 4 others were feeding on common milkweed patches near the geese pond. The last three were flying above south-west meadow where all kinds of milkweeds were blooming. One of Monarchs had a wounded wing. Half of this wing was lost. I made a picture of it and if I be permitted, I put it here later.
