Monarch Adult (FIRST sighted)

Date: 07/21/2021

Number: 1

My husband, Ken, first spotted the monarch butterfly flying over the swamp milkweed, drinking nectar from it's flowers, and constantly moving it's wings while drinking. It flew over the road to the other side where there is also a swamp (swamp is on both sides of this main road). We took pictures of it. We were so glad to see this monarch butterfly!
