This beauty was at the edge of the beach covered in plants/algae/sand and appeared dead at first. We gently picked him up and cleaned him off. He was not able to fly at first but he kept trying. We put him in the forest away from the wind and seagulls but he still wasn’t able to fly. Took him home thinking he just needed some sheltered time - during the short ride I sang him a hymn and prayed - and when we got home I opened the door and he flapped his beautiful wings and flew up into the tall trees. Grateful!
