Noticed 2 adult monarchs nectaring at a Low & Behold butterfly bush in our backyard. A third monarch flew over & approached the monarch at the top of the bush. They both flew away. One returned to the same butterfly bush & the other flew to a nearby birch tree & rested on a branch for a short time. This was 3 pm in the afternoon. They were very active all afternoon visiting other butterfly bushes in the yard along with common milkweed.
