Saw Monarch larvae in “J” on 24 th, was attached to Maximilian Sunflower.
Checked today and is making a chrysalis—nearly done and still moving just below attachment point.
Seemed very small. The only milkweed near the sunflower is Asclepius tuberosa, “ Hello Yellow”.
I’ve got pics of chrysalis construction, and the milkweed.
